αβ valve, or AB valve, split butterfly valve, it is designed to operate by using the active unit (α unit) and the passive unit (β unit). The active unit and the passive unit connect the respective vessel, and combine to a complete butterfly valve when docked. It is suitable for containment transfer and aseptic transfer. The active unit and the passive unit have their own self lock systems. When docked, the self-lock system will be released, and the active unit and passive unit are interlocked, the combined disc can be opened; When the discs are in the opened position, the active unit and the passive unit cannot be separated. The optional accessories are available for pressure-containing purpose, CIP and SIP.
