In the friction hoisting system, hoisting head rope not only endures force, but also transmits force. During the continuous hoisting, plastic elongation will occur to the hoisting head rope, and the loading and unloading condition of the hoisting system will be impacted with the increase of the plastic elongation, which requires an adjustment to hoisting head rope.
During friction hoisting containers need to be lifted when replacing liners, head sheave and containers, so as to make the hoisting head rope slack and get the system to work. Previously the work must be done by installing winch beside the mine hoisting tower or applying hydraulic hoisting to lift the containers, which requires much manpower and takes a long time for operation.
