Gilsonite in Construction
We disclose the Gilsonite cement compositions which utilize petroleum asphalt, natural bitumen, a reactive oil and an elastomer.
These compositions produce superior Gilsonite cement that can give low viscosity during application followed by high viscosity, toughness and tenacity after curing on the highway.
Shove resistance is resistance to permanent, longitudinal displacement of a localized area of the pavement surface caused by traffic pushing against the pavement.
