Roof and Gutter De-icing by Self-regulating Heating Cable

RGS series are used on roofs to provide a continuous drain path for melted ice and snow to flow through the gutter and to the downspout. The self-regulating characteristic adjusts cable's heat output in accordance with the ambient condition. In snow and icy water, the heating cable operates at full power. As the snow melts and the water drains away, RGS self-regulates to half power. As it gets warmer, the power output will decrease to reduce energy consumption.

Features

  • Temperature self-regulating, never over-heating, safe to overlap
  • Can be cut to lengths and terminated in the field
  • Applicable for all types of roofs and gutters
  • Designed to be subject to water and sunlight
  • No temperature controller is required
  • Energy conservative
  • CE approved
