Duplex 2507 stainless steel pipe is a superior stainless steel fabricated for typical applications in which exceptionally high strength and rust protection are required. Duplex 2507 alloy constitutes of 7% N, 25% chromium and 4% molybdenum. Large concentration of Chromium, Molybdenum and Nickel produces high resistance alloy.
Features of Duplex 2507 Stainless Steel
· Excellent resistance to chloride pitting and corrosion resistance.
· Chemical character of Duplex 2507 offers large resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking.
· It comprises of exceptional mechanical strength. Normally a lightweight gauge of this alloy can be purposed for achieving the same design force as provided by broader nickel alloy. So, it offers a cost effective fabrication benefit.
· Low coefficient of thermal expansion
· Blend of austenitic and ferritic properties
· Excellent corrosion Resistance
· Effective welding and working character
Temperature limit of Duplex 2507
Duplex 2507 is designed to operate under temperature of 316° C or 600° F. Increase in the temperature above this limit tends to decrease the hardness and rust protection feature of this alloy.

Corrosion resistance by Duplex 2507 Stainless steel
Duplex 2507 is widely resistant to corrosion caused by organic acids, inorganic acids, carbide compounds. Its ferrite proportion offers resistance to stress corrosion cracking in the hot chloride conditions. With the addition of Chromium, Nitrogen and Molybdenum its resistance property is widely enhanced.
