Corrosion Resistance Nature of Stainless Steel 310S
The high concentration of Chromium in 310S steel intends to enhance the high temperature strength as well as increases the corrosion resistance nature of alloy. Therefore 310S offers high resistance at normal temperature range in fact tends to retain better resistance property in the oxidation and carburising conditions with the increase in temperature.
Heat Resistance properties of Stainless Steel 310S
Steel 310S has good resistance to oxidation up to temperature of 1040°C and 1150°C continuously. This alloy also offers extreme opposition to thermal fatigue nature and periodic heating. This is the reason that this wire is preferably used in the conditions where Sulphur oxide gas is present under high temperatures.
