WN Flange is generally made by forging or forging. When using steel or steel manufacturing, must meet the following requirements:
1, the welding flange should be ultrasonic testing, no delamination defects;
2, should be cut along the direction of steel rolling into a strip, the bending system welded into a ring, and the surface of the steel ring to form the cylinder. Shall not be directly machined into steel with a neck welded flange;
3, the ring butt weld should be used full penetration weld;
4, the ring butt weld should be post-weld heat treatment, and for 100% ray or ultrasonic flaw detection
WN Flange has a higher rigidity than a flat welded flange with a neck and a high butt weld strength, which is less prone to leakage.
