Property Light-yellow Power, non-toxic and non-smelly. Soluble in chloroform, benzene, acetone, carbon disulfide, a little soluble in gasoline and carbon tetrachloride, insoluble in water and dilute alkali .
Application It is used as the rubber accelerator of natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, acryloxitrile -butadiene rubber, etc.. It is also used in latex. DPTT is regulated for use in articles in contact with food as specified under FDA 21 CFR175.105, 175.300, 177.1210 and under BgVV XXI, Categories 1-4 and " Sonderkategorie ".
