FRGEL MP100 can be used in unsaturated polyester, epoxy resin and vinyl ester
resin ,inks, paints ,sealant and adhesives, cosmetics and grease. Suitable solvents/Resins :Aromatic
and aliphatic hydrocarbons ,terpenes ,white spirit ,mineral oil, paraffine toluene ,xylene ,kerosene ,
heptane, aliphatic hydrocarbons with lower content of aromatic compounds ,also mixture with olar
compounds as methanol ,ethanol,propanol,butanol,methl ethylketone ,methyl isobutyl ketone,
acetone ,ethyl acetate,propylene carbonate,ethyl glycol acetate etc. The percentage of polar
compounds should not be more than 50%.
Advantages :High gelling efficiency and easy dispersing .It produces reproducible thixotropic
consistency over a wide temperature range Imparts particle suspension, preventing hard settling of
pigment and fillers Exerts strong film reinforcing action in organic binder system
FRGEL MP100 can be incorporated into organic liquids using either high shear or high speed
dispersing equipment. Optimum gelling efficiency is usually obtained when the proper degree of
mechanical, chemical energy are applied to the system. FRGEL MP100 Can be effectively utilized in
the pigment grind in aliphatic solvent or systems containing aromatic solvent or the mixed solvents.
Use levels of FRGEL MP100 are generally 0.2-3.5% by weight of the system.
