Marine Naturlal Rubber Airbag for Heavy Lifting and Moving Huge Construction Objects

Introduction to Heavy Lift Air Bags

The combination of heavy duty lifting rubber airbag can have the capacity of lifting and transportation heavy objects over 16,000 ton. Lifting airbag heavy duty are being widely used in moving extra heavy objects such as large scale reinforced concrete, structure, cassion, oil drilling equipment, whole building structure, ect.

Heavy duty lifting rubber airbag needs no railways or trolley, has low demand of ground so this technology can save mst investment and time.

Selection Of Heavy lift airbags

Diameter: Dia1.0m airbags are the commonly used for caisson moving, and for the smaller sized caissons, Dia0.8m airbags are ideal one.

Effective Length (Le): In principle ,the effective length(Le) could be the caisson width plus 0.5m.Usually if caisson width>20m,airbags can be arranged as two rows.

Operating Pressure of Airbags : Actual Bearing Capacity of Unit= Weight of Caisson (G)/Total length of airbags (Le×N1). The category of airbags is decided by the final figure of Actual Bearing Capacity of Unit×1.2, and then take this figure to refer to the Specification Sheet of Airbags. (N1 stands for the pieces of airbags under caisson body)

NO.s of Airbags (N): The numbers of airbags for caisson moving is the pieces under caisson body (N1) plus the spare ones in front of the caissons (N2). The gap of airbags arrangement is about 2m under caissons, so N1=Length of Caisson (Lc)/2+1; the NO.s of spare airbags is decided by the distance of moving, and generally it should be more than 5 pieces.

Easy to operation

Only compacted ground and minimum facilities such as trolleys are needed. Meanwhile, heavy lifting airbags are easy to install as the deflated airbags are very fat and small to be placed under vessels hull.
Lower cost .Using airbags helps to decrease 70% budget comparing with traditional lifting methods.Various applications Concrete caissons, pump houses, statues, bridge blocks and tanks, water diversion pipes, box culvert, gas drilling equipment, cofferdams and various heavy structures.

Major Strengths Of Heavy lift airbags

High safety level, safety coefficient more than 4.0, airbags with safety valve
Good air tightness , pressure decrease lower than 10% within 24 hours

Long life guaranteed , airbags can be repeatedly used for more than 100 times  under the condition of normal use.

Our company

In 2007 we moved, with our airbags, an ancient sunken ship weighing 5,600 tons of the Song Dynasty named “Nanhai No. 1” for 400 meters horizontally from the beach to its permanent exhibition site within only 2 days, which was a sensational accomplishment to the world at the time. Another example of our technological superiority is that our buoyancy airbag can produce 30 tons of net buoyancy per ton of rubber vs. only 2 tons of net buoyancy per ton using steel buoyancy tank. Moreover, our buoyancy airbag is reusable up to 100 times in contrast with steel buoyancy tank for only one-time use.
